Robin (OTHER Observations)

Date: 03/24/2008

Number: 1

It has been interesting watching the birds here the last few days. On Thursday it was sunny and the ground was bare, redwings, sand hills, robins, herons, fox sparrows had all arrived. By Saturday morning we had 14 inches of snow, the feeders were very busy. The regular winter visitors were looking at all the strangers, trying to figure out where they came from. My neighbor blew a path across the lawn between us and the sun quickly melted it down to grass. The robins took full advantage. I watched and they found plenty to eat. I'm enclosing a few pictures.
