Out on Elephant Butte Lake, late Saturday evening. It was very windy(weather said 60mph) I was looking for one my Jet skis that had come untied and blew across the lake.... I came upon a sand bar with at least 10 of these very large Cranes... White with Black wing tips. I spooked them ( I didn't see them until too late....) They flew I don't know if they relanded. They were in a very exposed spot... small sand bar in the middle of the lake?
