Finally a warm day that felt like spring. 10+ Robins were seen by me and some colleagues in two separate open fields at the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve. The birds were hopping in open fields and perhaps foraging for food. The sky conditions were clear to partly cloudy in the morning on the day I saw many robins. This morning (3/28), a snowstorm had arrived, and I saw only one Robin on the ground by the road, and this bird appeared somewhat disoriented.
