Nothing like the song of a robin to herald the return of warm weather and spring... altho' I don't think we're quite "out-of-the-woods" here in southern Alberta, not quite yet. March "came in like a lamb" ... will it "go out like a lion" ? Yes, March and April are noted to be historically and statistically rather "dynamic" months for weather here, very changeable, and they can be harsh.... typically bringing us our highest amounts of snowfall in March.
NOW, how many students there are really familiar with the meaning or background of those "old sayings" I just dropped into my report here!?
