Strong Chinook winds blew over the weekend with gusts of over 70 mph. The warm winds have melted the ice on the two ponds near here. The snow is almost gone, as only some large drifts remain. We do have a Winter Storm Warning for Friday night and Saturday. So much for the first High School Track meet of the season.
