The morning started out overcast but temperatures in upper 50's. At that time the male was singing the typical melodious song or their morning song. Which is known to be a territorial song, as I'm already familiar with the calls or songs of the Robins. I've never really correlated the songs with temperatures before though. I have noticed that they do seem to sing less when the temperatures begin to drop, as they are doing right now as I type this. Within a couple of hours or early afternoon it has become much cooler, windy and misting rain. I'm no professional but I've been a avid ornithologist for many years now.
