Tulips EMERGED

Date: 03/20/2007

Number: 1

We had a huge snowstorm the early part of March, but as the snow began to melt the first shoots of the tulips were beginning to emerge. We took the Caterpillar Crew class on a hike to look for green things on St' Patrick's Day. On the way back into the building, we stopped to observe the garden. Surprisingly, the tulip tips were red! The children were very excited. Spring Break is the last week in March so we hope the children will be thrilled to see the progress of the tulips when they return to school.
