On Saturday, the 29th, we saw our first flock of Robins near Swede Lake. Yesterday we saw them near our house, dozens of them. Today we have been hit by a slow moving late winter storm and the Robins have been feeding on wild apples across the road and taking shelter in the Pines near our house where we also spread bird seed. There are perhaps hundreds. They look to be in excellent shape and are chirping and singing loudly. As of 4:50 p.m. they seem to have found shelter in our thickest pines down by the swamp. My guess is they will wait out the storm there. Good luck to them.
