Today was the first robin I sited in my own yard this spring. We are at approximately 2000 feet, about four miles out of town, and they have been seen in waves down in the valley for the last week or so. I have been hearing a single robin call back in the woods for two days, but today when I opened the door I heard several different robins calling at the same time from several different locations. A few hours later I finally spotted one hopping in my driveway and cheered! Spring is here!
