Robin (First HEARD singing)

Date: 03/24/2008

Number: 1

There are many groups of robins flying, landing in trees and on the grass. Many of our students have heard the robins singing their territorial song and one of our students brought in a DVD recording of many robins near her home. We've noticed they have the bright orange fronts and black backs and black around their eyes. It seems there are more everyday. It is still very cool here, it was -12 degrees (54 F)celcius in some areas and it snowed a little today.
