All Other Signs of Spring

Date: 03/24/2008

Number: 1

I took this Monday, March 24 at Tete
Jaune. These birds are thick on the ground and in all the feeders and
more waiting in the trees. They are being feed black sunflower
seeds. We used 800 pounds of
black sunflower seeds in 6 weeks and have purchased another 80 this
week. The birds have taken up residence under our low level deck.
They are grey crowned rosy finches.
Anyone want to count them?
