Robin singing was reported by several students the week of March 23 - 29. Sightings (or hearings) have increased rapidly this week. This morning (4/2)I saw two robins in my back yard acting strangely - perhaps a mating dance of sorts. One robin hopped in circles around the other. Both were bright orangy-red. I could not detect a difference, and both were fluffed. out. The one in the middle of this circle kept moving a few feet back and then forward. The neighbor's dog barked and approached them, and they flew away. Have you heard of this or seen this before? They were doing this for about 5 minutes before they were rudely interrupted.
