While outdoors this morning, I heard the unmistakable tuck, tuck, tuck call of a robin. Then I saw it up in a tall tree.
Even though they are later arriving than usual, I'm surprised to see them around. The ground here is still covered with 2 - 3 feet of snow. I can't imagine what they will find to eat. It will be weeks, before all this snow melts.
