This morning @ 6:35 AM saw a male Robin singing in my front Green Ash tree.A welcome sight indeed. I listened to the 6 vocals of the Robin ,and would definitely say it was #1 (song) pretty much a spring courtship vocal. It was by the way a male.I found this a bit early ,as my usual observations for spring arrivals of Robins to be around April 6-9 in past years. The weather and spring in general has been slow to arrive with daytime temperatures being in the 0-2 ° C range. The morning of my Robin sighting (March31) the temp. was -5°C.
