Wish I would have had my camera with me. Two mating monarchs decided to take a rest on my apple blossoms for a short time. They floated in on a gentle wind current, I ran in for my camera and by the time I got back out and almost close enough they were up and away on another wind current. It would have been a great shot, two monarchs, one upside down and the other right side up together mating on the go. Tried to get them in flight but they were just to far away. I saw several over the weekend but not together. I know not to go outside without my camera in the spring time.
