About 80% of our tulips are in full bloom!!! It's certainly a wonderful sign that spring is really here! Las Friday, March 28, our class spent the afternoon outside enjoying our tulip garden. With paper and crayons, the children drew the tulips just like Georgia O'Keefe drew her famous flower paintings. We got this idea from one of the suggested activities from Journey North. The children enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon drawing their own version of a Georgia O'Keefe flower painting. It was a very wonderful way to spend a very pleasant day!
