We mark our calendar every year for the arrival of the first Robin sighting. This year it was January 29, 2008. The weather at the time of the Robin sighting was cold, but at that point, no snow. There were two males on that day - my human interpretation would have been they were scouting nesting sights, The ground was so frozen that finding any food on the ground would have been difficult...
