I put up my three feeders at 8:00 AM on 4 April and at 5:17 PM had a male Rufous at one of the feeders. Temperatures have been cool but above freezing at sea level both day and night but some snow is left in shaded areas from a heavy snowfall of a week ago. This is the earliest record for arrival since I have been keeping records for this location since 2002. William Foster, Sitka, Alaska
