I was walking my dog about 8:00 a.m. in a swirling mass of heavy, wet snowflakes that dumped 3 inches throughout the day, but for one entire city block we were serenaded by a robin triumphantly singing his song in the midst of our last (I hope) snowstorm of the season. No sooner had his song faded from earshot when another robin on the next block took up the song. It was glorious!
