The time was approx. noon on Sunday 4/6/08. It was warm (65)and windy (10-15 mph) I could not believe it was a monarch but was able to get a close look. The wings looked a little ragged and the color was dull or dirty looking. There was just one that I saw. It looked like it was trying to find nectar although I don't have much right now. My milkweed does not come up until about the 1st of May. I have had a monarch waystation for approx. 3-4 years now and am currently growing 8-9 different varieties of milkweed in my greenhouse.
