The monarch was flying very fast around in my yard. It was about 4:00 with temps in low 70's. I had just brought out over-wintered milkweed and hoped for eggs but that did not happen. In the same hour I also saw painted lady and red admiral. All seemed very hyperactive, not stopping at flowers.
