Tulips EMERGED

Date: 04/06/2008

Number: 1

Aha- they were hiding under the snow!!! There was over 3 feet (1m) of snow on top of my 'offical' journey north tulips at the beginning of April - but today - the snow has melted and I can see the tips of my tulips peeking out at me!!! Yippee and yahoo!!! The weather this weekend is amazing- it's +10C and the snow is melting so fast (I am sure you can see the drifts getting smaller and smaller by the hour!). The sap is still running but some of the trees are giving 'milky' sap. Welcome tulips - and welcome spring.
