it was a sunny day - quite cool - about 11 - there was still a few patches of snow on the ground. The robin was hopping on the grass patches - listening. This robin appeared to be a loner.
I haven't heard the robin song yet this year. In the past whenever I have heard them, they are up high in the trees or on a rooftop.
