While visiting family in the Pugwash area, we observed dozens of robins hopping and running about on the lawns and pasture. Local folks stated that this was the first flock of spring robins they had seen. It was a beautiful sunny day, still quite a few patches of snow lay about, but was quickly melting. This is a bit further north from the Annapolis Valley where I had reported a similar experience slightly more than a week earlier.
