Robin (First HEARD singing)

Date: 04/07/2008

Number: 1

Yesterday 4/7/08 a winter snow storm completed its task of dumping 27' (inches) of snow on Northern Minnesota and then moved on. Afterwards, the sun came out and it was absolutly beautiful outside. My husband and I were shoveling pathways when I noticed 5 (five) Robins in the back yard, sitting on the bare branches of numerous trees, and all were singing to each other. It was a wonderful sound because it means summer is back even if I was standing in two feet of snow!
