Only 10 of our 70 tulips came up. Of those, 9 have bloomed. The rest, we believe, were eaten by voles. We knew they might be a problem so we mixed PermaTill into the soil. We still saw tunnels in our tulip garden. We added more PermaTill on top of the bed and also set out a live catch trap under a bucket but were not successful in catching anything. We hope to research new methods to deter voles and try again next year!
