Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/07/2008

Number: 1

On Sunday night April 7, 2008 my husband and I saw 19 Monarch adults flying in and around our back yard between 6:30 and 7:15 P.M. They were Monarchs for sure. Some of them had wings that were a little raggedy, but still easily recognizable as Monarchs.

We were lucky enough to have a major roosting event last October also. There were hundreds in the yard that evening and into the next morning until the sun came up. I think it was October 6th or 7th-I know it was a Monday evening.
