During strong weather system moving through Tulsa, with high winds, I went outside to secure patio furniture. Noticed single large male monarch on top of hedge, feeding on small flower buds. Very large specimen. Stayed about five minutes, flew up and wind took him quickley away. No other monarch's sighted. I think this is the earliest I've ever seen a monarch. Cold front came through this evening about 11:15 PM and temps tomorrow night forcast to be 37 degrees
