My husband found a robin sitting on a nest on top of a fence post in the far northeast corner of our backyard. It seems like an odd place for a nest, but the fence is a six foot high wooden fence, so perhaps the pair thought it a safe place to be. It is exciting, as we haven't seen robins nesting within our yard for several years.
