At Clear Creek Elementary, our official garden was planted around the flagpole. These tulips were beginning to bloom when we returned from spring break on March 31st. We also planted several experimental gardens. In a raised bed and sheltered area behind the school, our tulips bloomed earlier, probably around March 25th. In another protected area, the tulips began blooming the first week in April. We planted a few tulips very late during the last week of December. They emerged but look like they won't bloom at all this year!
