Tulips EMERGED

Date: 04/17/2008

Number: 1

Our Grade 2 students went out on this beautiful spring day and were amazed to see 5 tulips emerging out of the snow. We couldn't believe that they could make it through all that snow!
We had a record snowfall for Miramichi, New Brunswick Canada this year. We had 373cm of snow! The rest of our tulips are still covered in lots of snow. The snow plow was definitely not a friend to our garden, as he plowed a huge mountain of snow on top of it. We did dig up some of the snow in one spot and found a tulip emerging.
