Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 04/17/2008

Number: 1

The tulips bloomed! All of the tulips opened except for one. They were more than 12 inches tall. We had to use two rules to measure them. They were really pretty because they were red. The inside was black and yellow. We were excited that they bloomed, but not so happy because we missed it. We had parent teacher conferences. It was warm and sunny.

Some of the tulips got chewed in the experimental garden. Maybe a fawn, rabbit, squirrel, doe, or buck munched them. Many of the tulips bloomed.
