I saw my first earthworm this week when a robin pulled one out of the wet ground. I've noticed that the waves of migratory robins are feeding where the snow has just melted and the soil is wet. Does snowmelt brings worms to the surface the way they come to the surface after it rains? (I'm estimating the date as April 15th.)
