I've had an announcement running on the local radio station for birders to report their sightings, hearings, and waves. Today I got a call from an older couple who both heard and saw their first robins. Hooray!

The first sandhill cranes arrived two days ago, and we also have goldeneyes and trumpeter swans in town.
