Yesterday (4/23) I had a female, a bit worn, laying eggs all over my milkweed. Even though I had a 100 plants in pots, she seemed to prefer the brand new shoots just coming out of the soil. I even took a flat of milkweed over to where she was, but she seemed to ignore them.
