My students came back from Spring Break to find tiny monarch larvae covering the small sprouts of milkweed in our classroom garden. We still haven't seen an adult monarch, but it's obvious that they've been here! We have eggs and at least 10 tiny larvae feeding on the 2 and 3 inch sprouts of milkweed. We are purchasing more plants to feed this group of "babies" before school is out for the summer. Exciting!
