Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 04/24/2008

Number: 1

Well, today was all about the Sphinx Moths and Painted Ladies! They were just ALL OVER the blooming currant thicket and the blooming lilacs. Our back yard is VERY fragrant. I did a little work on the patio, but mostly just sat and watched the spectacle. More of the milk weed is emerging, but no eggs. I did see at least 4 Monarchs. No wind and 83 degrees. B.
