Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 04/27/2008

Number: 1

This has been a very unusual spring! Normally the trees are leafing out by now but this year the buds are just at the swollen stage. The weather has been just plain miserable and that has robin activity very far behind what they would normally be doing. While I have heard some treetop singing and seen a few males sparring, it isn't often. There also seems to be far fewer robins that usual. I wonder if the robins will arrive in large flocks when it starts to stay warmer at night and the sun warms up the days.
