Our tulips bloomed early last week - April 21 and 22. It was warm (seventis) and dry. We were on vacation and it was a nice surprise to come home to. We planted twenty four bulbs last fall. Twenty bloomed perfectly (a few had double blooms!) and four didn't emerge at all. We think chipmunks may have eaten a few because we found one of their tunnels in front of our garden. Watching the tulips grow from just little sprouts to huge blooming flowers was very exciting. We were very eager for them to bloom and love the way the fold and unfold each day.
