Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 04/23/2008

Number: 1

Robins had been seen in this area in the last few days but we were away so I can't claim that sighting. They were definitely here on the 23rd and since our snow had pretty much gone, there must have been earthworms for them to eat. THEN, we got 14" of heavy snow starting on April 25th. Today, 29th, there's still about 6" of heavy, wet snow everywhere. A friend reported seeing a robin at her bird feeder! She knows her birds so I have no reason to doubt her sighting...I suppose if there was nothing else available for them to eat???
