This is an update to my 3/31/08 sighting report. Our baby birds hatched from their eggs on 4/28/08. They are so cute! At first they would make a fuss when we came near the nest. They would stay nearby while we took a quick peek. Now, a couple of days later, they seem to be more comfortable with our presence. It has been a wonderful experience for my children. My 9 year old daughter has a protective and concerned attitude toward the babies. My 4 year old son loves to watch them "yawn". It is a blessing to view nature in such a personal way.
