Lake Auburn, Auburn, Maine
"Lake Auburn is now free of its winter coat. By Wednesday afternoon, the lake was ice free for all intents and purposes, with only a few, small patches of ice floating along the shore.""This is consistent with the timing of recent years. Last spring's ice-out date was also April 23. Although the 2006 ice-out was a near-record March 31, Lake Auburn wasn't clear of ice in 2005 until April 20."
