"The official “ice out” date for Lake Nipissing this year is April 26 based on eye witness accounts on the water and in the sky. The Nugget made the declaration after speaking to Algonquin Flight Services pilot Neil Stephen and Gateway Helicopters chief pilot Glenn Graham. Both pilots said there was no trace of ice to be seen during return flights from Sudbury Tuesday afternoon."
