May 1, 2008 we have our first Orchard Oriole of the year (a Male). May 2, 2008 he is still here and we also have two females. This is our third year to have Orchard Orioles. They are feeding on our blooming Tropical Hibiscus and Honeysuckle. We were expecting them because our Red Hot Poker began to send up their flower stalks a few days ago and they were the favorate food for the Orioles the past two years.
