I was visiting friends at a townhouse in the middle of Sherwood Park AB., when we sighted two Common Loons swimming in drainage lake in the center of the Townhouse complex April 29,2008. They were the first of the year we have seen, and had never expected to see such wilderness birds in the middle of suburbia.
