Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/04/2008

Number: 1

On Sunday afternoon around 1PM I spotted 2 adult monarchs. This is the first I've seen this year. Our spring has been cold and wet. Sunday was sunny, light winds and 75 degrees.

I am sure that it was a monarch. The monarchs have stopped at our farm for years and especially stop in the fall. Two years ago the fall was beautiful and we had thousands that were at our farm. They seemed to like the cedar trees. They were around for about 10 days to two weeks and then one day they left.
