23 days after emerging my tulips are in bloom today (05/06/08)! The average number of days between emergence and bloom is about 20. The tulips emerged and bloomed later this year. We had a "typical" spring in MN, and we complained that spring would never really arrive. Now the bloodroot, hepatica, and bluebells are also blooming in the woodland. We have spring fever!
