There is a male ruby-throated hummingbird in our yard and at the feeder. We live about 500 feet from the southern part of Lake Huron about 9 miles from Sarnia, Ontario. I usually see the hummers arrive on the 5th or 6th of May every year. It is sunny about 55'F here today with the winds from the north off the lake.
