I saw my first Male Ruby-throated Hummingbird of the 2008 Season tonight, Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at 8:21 PM in the backyard while mowing the lawn. I stopped and sat and we watched one another until he flew off North over the house with a flash of his ruby gorget.
