Saw my first male Ruby Throat this morning. He may have arrived with the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday (as they usually do) but I didn't see him until this morning. They are very predictable, arriving between May 5 - 8 every year. He's hanging around our feeder this afternoon too, so he hasn't moved on yet. I have six feeders up (front and back), so hopefully he will stay for the summer. The females will arrive in another week or two.
